The Zero Waste Festival Alliance (ZWFA) is a new organization that has been created to help festivals in Tompkins County minimize waste. The group will advocate and coordinate the separation, recycling, composting, and reuse of unwanted materials during each festival. The Alliance will cultivate public awareness and education at local events by developing an appropriate and consistent waste management program.
